JUNE 10: UP THE HUDSON

We left Kingston on a cooler but cloudy day.  Below are some of the boats that are part of  their Maritime Museum.  Our destination today is Cocksockie (pronounced Cooksockie).  A quiet river town that time has passed it by, just our cup of tea.

Entrance to the Hudson River from Kingston.

A nice quiet anchorage at Cocksackie.  We were the only boat there.  Just after dusk, we heard a loud commotion... flocks of birds making a helluva racket.  We also saw a fox with its dinner in its mouth heading to its cubs.  Slightly different wildlife from the Bates Motel...

His Majesty pressing the valet bell for dinner.
